When we look at southern sky, then we r looking at the galactic center which has huge population of stars. The milky way appears brighter at the southern side because of the more number of stars. There are more number of nebulae and star clusters in the southern sky. The stars in the clusters are called constellations. the shape of the constellations change over many thousands of years due to the relative motion of the earth. However the stars from the celestial pole cannot be seen from the opposite hemisphere. Lets see how it looks like.
